As we move into the end of the WEEK 2 JOURNEY with FENTY BEAUTY products, I saw a YouTube makeup blogger I really enjoy review FENTY BEAUTY Mattemoiselle Lipsticks. I wanted to share the link, which is below:

This makeup blogger has one of the most creative videos I have ever watched. Details are everything! She has different looks within the videos and I AM HERE FOR IT!! It is so helpful to see someone be creative and try new things. In this video, they decide to add white highlighter to the lip for a super cute makeup effect. These brave moves inspire me to try out things I see people do that I am too afraid to try… I have so many eyeshadows waiting to be used because of that reason…
I found this video absolutely useful as woman of color with a darker shade. She and I do not share the same skin tone, BUT it absolutely helpful to see it on her than someone with light skin tones (we will leave it at that). I always find the makeup tutorials of women with darker skin stones so much more useful than the latter. The search results are so limited if I only watched tutorials of women with my skin tone… I would be searching longer than enjoying funny videos from Jackie! My experience has been so positive with finding tricks that work for my skin tone, such as how much setting powder I should use to maybe what setting powders I should stay away from (I am on a setting powder research frenzy right now if that is not obvious right now).
I have not purchased any FENTY BEAUTY lipsticks, but there are two shades Jackie made me fall in love which were FLAMINGO ACID and SHADE I QUITE. I love reds! Something about red makes me feel so HOT (bot beautiful or cute) HOOOOOOttttTTTT! And being a Latina with more indigenous skin tones, you know Selena is a MAJOR FASHION/MAKEUP/MUSIC/CULTURAL INFLUENCE on what I seem to gravitate to. I am not from Texas, but I sure do want some nice cowboy boots, hip-rise jeans, and a Mexican-buckle belt! As for the, SHADE I QUITE, I am not one to wear shades like these but if I had to push myself to pick one of the ones she reviewed, I decided I would want to try this one. Next month, I might just buy these shades!
Keep making art everyone, whatever that is for you! ❤
PS: You can try on the lipsticks on yourself eith the link she offers AND you can try it on whole watching her video! This is a new feature for FENTY BEAUTY and they did ask her to try the products.
